CondoGarden was born and raised in south Georgia. His father, having retired from running his own construction company, started a plant business in the early 1970s. At the time, Condo was a young hippie in college. He went to work for his father and soon was running the greenhouses. Thirty-plus years (and a variety of jobs) later, he’s living in a condo in the suburbs of Atlanta.
All the gardening blogs he could find deal with people who have real yards and good light for growing. Nobody seemed to be addressing the kinds of constraints found in condominium gardening. He started this blog hoping to start a conversation with other gardeners-in-exile about small-space gardening.
